Rain Water Intrusion in Cumberland County
This unfinished Cumberland County Basement had water intruding any time there was excessive heavy rain fall. The homeowner did not realize the extent of secondary damage it was causing by letting it dry on its own. During recent heavy rain storms the home owner went to check on the basement and noticed the excessive amount of mold along was the rain water coming into the basement. The professionals at SERVPRO of Cumberland County were called out to the job. All of the drywall and cabinets were covered in mold and had to be torn out and disposed of. Once our crew cleaned up all the water and disposed of all the materials that had been affected by mold they placed drying equipment and had this basement back to a healthy state in a matter of 2 days. This homeowner was thrilled to not have a mold infested basement any longer!
